Martin Halford - Creative Director
Martin is an IT professional, with over ten years experience in web
design. He’s worked with lots of big names – the NHS, Mercedes-Benz
and Daimler-Chrysler to name but a few – and built web sites for
organisations as diverse as the National Housing Federation, The
Musicians Union and Freya Lingerie!
Before that, Martin made use of his artistic talents to gain a degree
in Fine Art in 1992 from the Byam Shaw School of Art in London. He
never dreamt it would be possible to find work combining his two
passions – art and computing – then along came the internet!
Martin is able to project manage the conception, implementation and
maintenance of entire sites, combining his extensive technical
expertise with creativity. Familiar and up to date with all current
software and programmes, there is nothing Martin does not know about
building web sites and graphic design.
He’s happiest sat in front of a computer, as long as it’s hooked up to
the Internet and his headphones are gently frying his ears. Whilst
keen on other screen-facing activities such as films and the arts,
he’ll do anything to avoid DIY. A mandatory requirement for employment
at Branch, he loves travelling and watching the world rush past at
600mph in an aeroplane. He has travelled the world extensively, but
his college sweetheart (now wife) and 4 cats have drawn him back to
the UK. He sees himself working from a laptop on a beach one day...
